Professional Tax Important areas of configuration & checks-India

Hi Experts,

My client has operations in MadhyaPradesh, Tamilnadu,Maharastra,Gujrat & Kerla.

I have already done the grouping for PTax.

Which all other areas to be checked & configured for successful PTax run.

As i could not see much of configuration requirement in the SAP-IMG-NODS asking here for some guidance.

Hope to get some suitable guidance.

Hi,

For PTax config all the nodes in the IMG --> Payroll --> India Payroll --> Professional Tax

after that assign the Ptax group to specific PA & PSA in the table V_7IN0P_ALL (Assign Universal Contribution Groupings for Universal Contribution Types)

Hi,

I am saying about the professional tax config tables V_T7INP3 &V_T7INP4. In this we give the Ptax slabs and also group them with the PSG's.

Please check the tables you would get it.

Hi,

There is no much config for the Ptax.

1) Do the PTax groupings with the PSG.

2) config the V_T7INP* tables.

Do the above 2 things configured correctly and test it with test employee who are present in that grouping by running the payroll.u will get it.
