Post to Inspection Stock

Hi

We have semi-finished material with configuration for Quality management:

- Inspection type - P04 Goods receipt inspection from production. Marked as Active.

- flag "Post to Inspection Stock" is NOT active. So we expect that this material to be posted to "unrestricted stock"

So:

1. I create Production order in CO01. It is created with Unrestricted stock type

2. But when I do goods receipt (101) for Production order, it is still posted into Quality stock instead of unrestricted.

Are there any other configuration impacting on it?

How do you determine the stock is on quality? In MMBE or table level?

Is the field QALS-INSMK empty or 'X'?

QALS-INSMK is empty.

Stock in MMBE.

thank you for the data.

I think the system response is correct. If INSMK is empty, it means the stock was not moved to quality.

But my complaint is - despite INSMK is empty it is posted to Quality stock. but not to unrestricted.

if this batch in MMBE has the inspection lot(s) with the QALS-INSMK = empty, that is just strange. Feel free to open a case to SAP Support to get a detailed analysis.
