Planned Orders not created, although the planning time fence in LTP is switched off

Dear all,

The MRP is assigning productions (planned orders) after the planning time fence, although the planning time fence in the LTP is marked to be deactivated.

Please check the attached screenshots below.

Thank you in advance

Hello,

On 01/08/2019 were all the sales requirements there? Or Sale orders are created later on.

Does MS05 shows same outcome?

What is the lead time defined in routing?

You are using MRP type P3, did you test same scenario with PD MRP type?

Best Regards,

R.Brahmankar

The issue is fixed..

This behavior occur because whenever the MRP finds a requirement, it checks if this requirement can be covered for an existing fixed receipt (within the rescheduling horizon), before creating a new replenishment element (planned order). This procedure is called “rescheduling check”. As a result, it is prevented that additional replenishment elements are generated and so additional simulation and capacity requirements result. In transaction OPPQ the rescheduling horizon is set as 100 days. The firmed planned order and production/process orders are set as relevant for the rescheduling, so MRP will reschedule these documents before create new orders.

So, we checked the fixed planned order 059425174 (scenario 089) in tab "Individual list" the exception message 10 with rescheduling date 22.08.2019 was displayed.

If a fixed replenishment element is found, an exception message (10 or 15) is created, suggesting the user to reschedule this fixed element in order to cover the shortage.

System first searches for fixed elements before the requirement date.

If the fixed element is after the requirement date, within the rescheduling horizon and this type of fixed element is included on the rescheduling check, according to the customizing, exception message “10 - Bring process forward” is displayed for the element

If a fixed element is found before the requirement date, then this receipt is not needed until later. In this case, the exception message “15 – Postpone process” is displayed for the element.

But please aware that the exception messages are not displayed in the tab "cross-plant view". For material grouping the rescheduling check has been switched off by purpose, since there are different material and plant combinations involved.

In this case, the LTP run should have been carried out on 22.08.2019.

Hello

What is the start date of the planned order? If you do not allow start in the past, planned orders may be forward scheduled, in order to avoid a basic start date in the past.

Can you please check in the MS04 individual list if you can find any exception message?

Caetano

Hello

Considering the MD04 screenshot provided, I don't see a time fence for your material, which is correct, according to the planning scenario settings. Try to delete this firm planned order and test this scenario again. You can use report RMPLAF00 to delete all the planned orders for a given scenario.
