Physical Inventory with Serialnumbers (No Popup for SN during Count)

Hi Experts,

Good day!

I am performing a physical inventory document for a material with a serial number. Most blogs mention that a pop-up will come out to enter serial number however for my case there is no pop-up to enter serial number. I also check the contents of Menu and all other buttons hoping that the serial number input screen will pop-up but nothing. I also went as far as postig in MI20 but still no screen to input any serial number.

Hi,

You have probably used the material which refers to the serial profile S001. For MMSL - Serial Usage = 02 (Optional), Which means the serial number is optional at the time of a goods movements.

Please make the following setting in SSCUI 103636 Define Serial Profile.

If serial numbers are required you need to change the Serial Profile to YBP1 which has serial usage = 03 (Obligatory) for MMSL.
