Dear Experts: I need two custom wagetypes ( already created ) to be included under the pension plan of our company in Canada. Can you please let me know the steps?
If they are already created, what Model WT did you use to create them?
Do you need these WTs to be added to the Pensionable Earnings used to calculate the Pension Deduction, are these WTs to be used for the Employer pension contribution and Employe deduction, or are these WTs to be used to pay out Pension Benefits?
Are you using IT0169 for your Pension Plan?

Hi,
If you would like to add these wage types for your pension plans, select the respective benefit area and under these, see under Miscellaneous plans and select you plan and check the config.
Now, go to Canada Payroll--> Benefits Integration --> Add wage types to deduction model. Now enter the wage types for your plan , employee contribution & employer contribution ( Pre - Tax / Post tax ) & provider wage types etc.
When the config is done you can maintain the IT0377 ( Miscellaneous plans) and save the records.
Save it and when you execute the payroll, you can see the contribution made in the payroll result based on your requirement.
Thanks,
Madhav.
