Dear Gurus,
We create outbound delivery by using a transaction VL01N which pulls the schedules from the Sales order/ Customer Schedule aggrement. But while creating outbound delivery the delivery quatity and picking quatity can be edited to higher quantity more the the schedule quantity.
SAP also doesn't throws the error which editing in outbound delivery.
Is there any configuration, where system should throw an error message or any other option where we can set the delivery quantity as a default and should not be editable.
With Regrds,
Siddharth Poste
To make the Quantity feild as non-editable in Delivery follow as suggested above.
As far as config goes follow this:
IMG - Logistics Execution - Shipping - Deliveries - Define Item Categories for Deliveries
Select your Item Category & Under Quantity Tab There is a box for Check Overdelivery - Mention B - Define Item Categories for Deliveries here.
Hope this helps,
Thanks,
Jignesh Mehta.

As a SAP Standard, you can change the quantity in the delivery document. However you can use the User exit to avoid the user to change the quantity. check below userexits
MV50AFZZ Users Exit for Batch Determination; LIPS-LGORT determination
MV50AFZ1 User Exits for Delivery Processing
