Opening Balance Amount import (using excel) in sap B1, refelection in gl not showing.

Hi,

While importing opening balances of the assets. In the GL the amount is not reflecting. Can you tell me how I can get to see the amount in the GL. All the assets imported as opening, has all right values.

As I've already written, GL postings for will not be generated automatically for FA import. You need to import the postings as part of GL account opening balance.

FA import is performed directly in FA tables, it does not generate a document so no posting is made to general ledger.

You need to import opening balances for FA accounts separately from FA master data import. And make sure to import OB on the same GL accounts that would be posted when creating FA transactions.

While importing through Excel, there was no option to provide the gl accounts. System should have taken automatically when I'm providing the asset class cuz, asset class is assigned to account determination and account determination is linked with the gl. Can you tell me, while importing the assets how I'll be able to assign the gl.
