Number of bins in elevation in 'sorting near to picking bin'

Hello.

I am implementing WM and using the 'sorting near to picking bin' strategy for my receptions.

The bins im using have the following coodinates: 01-01-01 to 09-09-09. The first to levels are the fixed bins.

So, the bins to which the materials will be destined will be those from 01-01-03 to 09-09-09.

This is the case: a material has the 01-05-01 as its fix bin. When i enter material, it goes to 01-05-03 correctly. Then to 01-05-04, then 01-05-05, 01-05-06. Then, it goes to 01-06-03, then 01-04-03, and it goes from side to side until it reaches 01-04-06. If i keep entering material, it keeps going to the sides.

I know i can customice the amount of bins per level for a material... but why is the height limit on 06 and does not go to 07? Can i modify that?

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi,

"I know i can customice the amount of bins per level for a material... but why is the height limit on 06 and does not go to 07?"

If that really happens and you do not have any settings made for this bins per level settings - I would think that it is a bug. I just tested it in my system and it worked fine. No issues with 9 levels.
