I want to setup MTO strategy 20 for one plant along with MTS 10 rest all plants have only MTS10.

Created REM profile with MTO,

Checked Setting in OMDD for planning order type.

But system create planned order against sales order (KE) with type PE even if maintained LA as well in OPU5 ,

1) Dependent requirement not flowing to child parts unless MD02 is run with simulation after MD50 and then save.

2) Even if sales order stock is created for ex 5 ,its not allowing for delivery to be created.

please guide if any specifi setting I am missing.

Hello

Can you please open this planned order in transaction MD12 and try to run a manual BOM explosion? Check if the dependent requirements will be created or not when you save this order or if there is any error in the BOM explosion.

Also, are you running MRP Live or Classic MRP for this material? Is it integrated to APO?

Hello,

It is a run-schedule order (order type PE), which should be used only in repetitive manufacturing.

As set repetitive manufacturing indicator in the material master MRP 4 view along with production version.

MRP creates planned orders according to the planning strategy defined for the material.

For dependent material planning you need to run MRP through MD01/02.

Hi,

For MTO as well do we need to use planned order type PE?

Also why system plan dependent requirement in simulation but in actual its not creating dependant requirement for child parts
