MRP and PR monthly

Hi Experts,

I have a business requirement to do the following. I'm still a bit new to MRP and Capacity planning.

The company has 12 manufacturing plants and a centralized procurement department. Some materials are shared between plants. The procurement team is requesting a way to create a monthly PR based on the results of the MRP run.

As a solution, I have tried using the Individual/Collective indication in the MRP views but I have no luck. I tried using Monthly Lot sizing Procedure (MB) as well both alone and with the changes in MRP 4 and still no luck.

I still keep getting multiple PRs for each month as shown below:

Have I made an error somewhere?

Hi Ajit,

Thank you for your response. I maintain PIRs and the strategy group 40 in the header materials.
Below is an extract from my MD04

As you can see I have 2 PR created for the same date. What can I do to correct this? I used the pegged requirement report MD09 and I get no result for the PR 10007423, but I get a detailed list of items for the PR 10007424.

From where are your requirements coming from? If you use strategy 40 and maintain Plan independent requirements for the header material, i think you will be able to get monthly Plan order or PR for the PIR quantity.
