Hi!
I am in the look for the most straight forward way of transfering material from a storing storage location (WM) to a production storage location (IM). I would like to transfer fixed quantities with the help of a barcode scanner with the least amount of human interaction possible. However, it must be the person doing the actual physical movement the one who triggers the transfer.
I was thinking of a classic kanban with only two states, empty and full, but I need to wait a minute between chages of states, and that´s quite inconvenient. Also considered event driven Kanban, but it also needs 2 steps. Firstly the creation of the kanban ID and then the confirmation of the TO.
Is there anything else I could try?
Thanks in advanced,
Franco.
Hello,
In my previous project, I used auto STO between sloc. Once the stock in sloc A is below reorder level, it will create PO STO from sloc B. After that you can create auto DO and create auto TO. For using this you have to create mrp area in storage location level. So when you run MRP it will read this requirement to move the stock.
