Material Available check in production order with partial confirmation status

Hi Experts,I need expertise's advise on is there anyway I can perform the component material availability check in a production order with partial confirmed status, example

Material number C001 = ROH (with open balance on hand 100 ea)

Material number C001-D is a followup material for C001

Production order number# 1001 with total order qty = 1000 ea

(1) Required qty for component C001 = 100

(1) Required qty for component C001-D = 900

Assumption

Step 1: Production order #100001 Partial confirmation status with qty yield = 300 ea

component C001 = 100 ea (already goods issued 261 during the confirmation)

component C001-D = 200 ea (already goods issue 261 during confirmation)

Step 2: Increase production order quantity from 1000ea to 1500ea

System behavior Result (not as expected)

Required qty for Component C001 became = 1300ea

Required qty for Component C001-D became = 200ea

Carry out material availability check in CO02 does not be able to check the followup functionality

Expected Result:

Required qty for Component C001 expected = 0

Required qty for Component C001-D expected 1500 ea

Question:

1. Can the material availability check able to carry out in the production order which is already partial confirmed?

2. Material availability check will give the correct result only unless reverse the order confirmation back to REL status only, is this the SAP standard or can control in configuration or user exit without reversing the confirmation?
