make field "production plant" mandatory in COHV

Hi all,

I am looking for a solution to make the field "plant" mandatory in tcode COHV.

Unfortunately, I was not able to track down the tcode anywhere in SPRO, also the suggested work-around with tcode SHD0 does not work here, as it only let's me adjust the fields in the header:

Is there any other way to make the field "production plant" mandatory in this tcode?

Hello TimK, Making an additional field as mandatory can be done through below two options,

Screen painter- SE80 screen number UI based changes (Can be done by developer guy)

Screen variant SHD0 - Functional people can do.

But I would recommend you to with standard until there is potential productivity impact.

thanks for your input!

I couldn't get SHD0 working for this field, as it only let's me change the header fields.

Is your suggested SE80 option a modification of SAP?
