Maintenance plan - only performance based

Dear friends,

We need to create a maintenance plan based on following scenario:

we have a equipment with the performance unit of measure - km. (measuring point characteristics)

we need to set a strategy with cycles - 500 km; 1000 km; 2000 km and so on.

the goal is generating work order every 500 km with task list 001 with operation 001

when measuring point comes to 1000 km system has to ignore first cycle and generate a work order with task list 001 which includes operation 001 and operation 002.

when measuring point comes to 1500 km system has to generate a work order with task list 001 with operation 001.

when measuring point comes to 2000 km system has to ignore first and second cycles and generate a work order with task list 003 which includes operation 001, operation 002 and operation 003.

we dont need time based estimated scheduling. only performance based scheduling.

Kindly ask you to guide us with the mentioned business case.

Thanks a lot!

Greetings,

this looks like a standard performance based preventive maintenance scenario. What you need to do:

  • IE01 / IE02 - maintain equipment with a measuring point (counter with unit of measurement KM)
  • IP11 - maintain maintenance strategy with proper scheduling indicators and unit of measurement KM. Consider package hierarchy to implement the proposed scenario
  • IA01 - maintain maintenance task list with strategy and assign proper operations to packages
  • IP42 - maintain maintenance plan with reference to a maintenance strategy
  • IK11 - start creating measurement documents to control scheduling maintenance orders
  • IP10 - schedule maintenance orders manually or use a job to do it automatically

Best regards,

Matjaž.
