Maintenance Plan on Hours and Months

Hi,

We have got an issue such that one of our Maintenance Plan was counter based with frequency 4000Hrs and Annual estimate of 4320hrs.

Last Year user changed its cycle to 12 Months to be Time Based.

Issue is that there is no strategy assigned and now Plan shows a Counter as well as 12 Months frequency, thus deducing Next Planned date has become a hassle.

Current status is that Last Order was TECO on 6th Dec 2020 and next Planned Date was expected to be around 6th Dec 2021 (based on 12 months frequency) but system showing 27th Jan 2023. We don't understand how the system is behaving right now.

As for the Counter, its reading is 34321 Hrs and was last entered in system on 2nd June 2021.

Hi,

if your are going to use time approach only then remove counter from plan and set cycle as 365 days.

or change the annual estimate to 4000.

Hi,

We want to go on with the Time approach but SAP doesn't allow removing counter from Plan.

I haven't come across the way to do it. If you can guide me on removing the Counter from the Plan?
