Link PLM spec to MIC

Experts,

I have an inspection plan for a Material. I have a single MIC in this plan. I would like to have the target value for the MIC populate from one of the VAT in the specification for the Material. I am aware that we can maintain the target value in QP01. Is it possible to link a MIC with VAT value from a Material spec?

Thanks a lot for your reply. I was referring to PLM Spec assigned to a Material in Basic data view of the Material master(RMWB Tcode). If I have a VAT in RMWB Material spec, is it possible to pull the VAT value from the spec and map it to Target value for a MIC?

You need to use either Material Specs or Insp Plan

You cannot have a mix

In your case, maintain the same limit as you have in the Mat Specs, or better, use the Mat Specs instead if possible

One possibility is you use the same MIC in your Mat Spec and Insp. Plan as well

This should solve the problem
