Is it correct to delete COGI entries?

Hi experts,

When a production confirmation is issued but the component isn't available in stock, it triggers an entry in the COGI (Controlling Goods Issue) list. Upon further examination, I observed that even though the production confirmation was reversed, the associated transaction 261 remained unresolved in COGI. There were no apparent errors detected in the goods movements. Hence, my question is whether it's advisable to address this issue by using the delete button to clear the error record in COGI?

For your case, the COGI was generated when do the confirmation, and then the confirmation was canceled.
I think you can delete this COGI item, because the 261 movement will be triggered again when next time do the confirmation, so for this time you can delete it.
