Internal order settlement to a cost center

Hi SAP experts I have a requirement to debit two types of expenses(two cost elements) to the same real internal order and then when I settle this order to different cost centers each cost element goes to a specific cost center ....so how can I link the cost element to a cost center while settling the internal order?

Hi Yousef,

You will need to create a Source Structure and in the settlement rules use a Source Assignment to channel different cost element (groups) to different receivers.

Hi Paulo, thank you for your replay Can you please explain how to link the source assignment to the receiver cost center in the settlement rule ....I can't find such a field in the screen or maybe I'm missing something.

As a starting point you need an assignment of a Source Structure, as otherwise the system cannot give you options for source assignments available and will not display a field in the settlement rule.

The source structure can be defaulted in the settlement profile or assigned manually in the settlement parameters.
