IN FBL3N OPEN ITEM ARE SHOWN AS CLEARED ITEM

Below are the screen shot attached. in FBL3N the open item are shown as clear item as this item are not cleared still open, as per client they have diselected the open item management and posted some transaction , plz suggest the possible solution

Hi Satish,

That is the behavior when the account is not open item managed.

You can evaluate using either FINS_ACTIVATE_OIM on S4, or FAGL_ACTIVATE_OIM on ECC, to reactivate open item management.

Sounds like the open item was switched off at some point and switched back on later? Check the account master in FS00. It might be that you need to switch it off first and then switch it back on.
