ILM Archiving of EPPM project

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to archive one of the EPPM projects in the system. I followed the steps in 1KA scope item to do the archiving. But when I try to activate the ILM business rule for the object, it gives me a message "ILM object /S4PPM/PRO not supported for rule generation". Hence we are unable to proceed with the next steps.

Does anyone has prior experience with EPPM project archiving? Or if you have inputs, please help in understanding the issue.
