How to write off special stock in in WM

Hi,

Due to some reason client need to scrap the stock from WM .But the problem i am facing is it is a special stock (it is having special stock indicator as "Z")

So when i try to do transfer posting through LT10 / LT01 by movement type 551 it goes to scrap storage type 999.

But when i try to write off the stock from storage type 999 through LI21 it gives me error that "Special Stock Z not supported."

can someone please help me to assist to resolve this error.

Two points here.

First, special stock Z doesn't look standard. Special stocks are defined in the T148 table, that should not be modified by customers:

Special stock Z is not there in the table in SAP standard delivery (key field SOBKZ):

Also have a look at SAP Help on Types of Stock managed in LE-WM.

Second, LE-WM inventory differences are cleared in Inventory Management with movement types defined in the configuration Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Activities -> Physical Inventory -> Clear Differences (Interface to Inventory Management). Standard settings are:

So if you have added your custom special stock type Z, then the movement types defined here need to support the special stock type Z. I suspect that they don't in your system, which is causing the M7146 error message.

I really appreciate your detail explanation .
and I able to get my question answer as well.

Just would like to ask further if there is any way to add special stock Z in the given path. Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Activities -> Physical Inventory -> Clear Differences (Interface to Inventory Management).

If yes then it will solve my query fully.

And also would like to know if there is any other way to remove this special stock ( customized ) from the system
