How to tracking updates on PO maintain and release ( out my authorization)

As per following sequence of T-CODES ERP SAP MM:

Purchase Requisition

ME51N - Create Purchase Requisition
ME52N - Change Purchase Requisition
ME53N - Display Purchase Requisition

ME54 - Purchase Requisition
ME55 - Collective of Purchase Reqs.
ME56 - Assign Source to Purch. Requisition

Req. for Quotation

ME41 - Create Req. for Quotation
ME42 - Change Req. for Quotation
ME43 - Display Req. for Quotation

Quotations

ME47 - Create Quotation
ME48 - Change Quotation
ME49 - Price Comparison

Purchase Order

ME21N - Create Purchase Order
ME22N - Change Purchase Order
ME23N - Display Purchase Order

I am responsible for T-code ME41 to ME49. Once, as big factory I send updates to different departments. But I didn't include updates regarding ME21N to ME23N. Also cant continue my work after ME49 to ME21N system will deny me as that not under my authorization.

Now, how to access and tracking updates on ERP SAP MM for PO maintain and releasing updates from my location?! Or I need to call my colleagues in another division to send me updates on each case have been maintained by me.

Hi,

I think you should take authorization of SE16N, So you can refer all data.

Also you can take authorization of ME23N & ME53N, So you can view the status of PR , RFQ & POs.

You can check EKBE table to get further transactions info for PO.

Just goto Se16n - Enter the table name as EKBE; execute to get information for this table.

If PO created for your purchase requisition - you can view the same PO number in your purchase requisition screen with ME53N in status TAB in Item Detail

You can discuss with your design team- To get a message/notification to your email ID when goods receipt done for your PO on the requested item!

Actually, I follow your steps. I still not find how to discover update on PO? please make it easier! I circled my RFQs refs.

Your screen shows processing status A( RFQ created ) and if PO created you can view processing status B( PO created ) showing PO number

For this PR you could not see your PO number in ME53N screen?

From your user ID- Just pick an old PR and try to check PO number from that old PR screen ME53N!

If you could not find PO number in ME53N screen for your PR- check with design team and have business justification to have this option in ME53N, and also can add to have message/notification to your e-mail ID, if your material PO released completely by purchasing.
