How to link directly the " Work Center " data of a equipment to a Functional Location ?

Hello all,

How is it possible to make link between Work Center of a equipment with the Functonal Location on it is placed ?

By example, and to understand easily :

" Equipment A " is placed on a " Funtionnal Location 1 "

The Work Center of the " F.L. 1 " is " 001 " , so the " Equipment A " has the " W.C. 001 "

The Work Center of the " F.L. 2 "is " 002 "

If the " Equipment B " is moved from " F.L. 1 " to " F.L. 2 "

But I must to change manually the Work Center information on the " Location Equipment " from " 001 " to " 002 "

If I do not this modification, Some problems will appear when I want to create a Work Order on the " Equipment A "

So , my question is know if it is possible to do the changing automitcly when a Equipment is moved from a F.L. to another.

Hi Yves,

If you have maintained the workcenter in the functional location, perhaps you should check the data-origin in the equipment. It can inherit data from the functional location but that is disabled when you have maintained that at individual equipment level. When installing, choose the option with data transfer and select the data of the functional location as origin.
