How to enter item that is used for promo

Hello. I have a client that wants to setup items that are promo items without cost in SAP Business One. 

How do i go about inputting the items and their prices and the deadline for the promo.

Hi,

Couple of ways to address the requirement.

1. Keep the sampling inventory in sampling warehouse to avoid other usage.

2. Record the consumption via a delivery challan by recording this to a separate GL Sales promotion kind of when the goods are delivered from sampling warehouse. If these are to be given on FOC basis then close the DC manually. 

Second option is to record the GI with a separate GL sales promotion kind of to bifurcate between issue entries.

Basis requirement you have narrated, have suggested the options.
