trading-partner-template.pngNew Trading Partners can be created by contacting your CSM/Product Expert in order to open a new WSR on your behalf. Once the WSR is approved, you can return the incident to us and we will create the Trading Partners for you.

WSR only needs to be created and approved once. If in the future you want to create new Trading Partners, the initial WSR will be used for that, so you won't need to create a new WSR each and every time.

Also, please add the list of Trading Partners that you want to have created on the incident. You can use an excel template with mandatory field in sequence example.

Company ,Company name , Name of company 2, Street , PO BOX Postal Code , City, Country , Language Key and Currency.

Please see the screenshot attached

Kind Regards

Creating a trading partner in S/4HANA Cloud can seem complex at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a valuable tool for streamlining your business processes. Make sure to follow the step-by-step guides provided in the documentation to ensure a smooth setup.
BTW, have you explored the possibilities of quantum AI trading? It's fascinating how AI is transforming the trading landscape, potentially making it more efficient and informed. While it might not be directly related to S/4HANA, it's an exciting development in the world of finance and technology!

Hello Eric,

How are you doing?

Thanks for your question!!!

Regarding your first question: What goes wrong if you do not have them?

Ther expert responsible to create your Trading Partner data will not be able to proceed with your request, since it is mandatory.

Regarding your second question: Can you explain a bit more when we do not provide or provide a wrong currency what negative side effects will occur?

The data provided is Customer Responsibility, if you provide a dummy data it can cause some inconsistencies in the future or in some transactions that would requires an accurate data from Trading Partner information.

My suggestion is always use the correct information.

I hope it helps you.

Best Regards

Hi Fabio,

Thanks for the update. Just for my curiosity, why do you need address data as mandatory fields?

What goes wrong if you do not have them? Same for the Currency field. Can you explain a bit more when we do not provide or provide a wrong currency what negative side effects will occur?

Eric.

Ps. We use it as labels in postings and these postings will be used by BPC. We do not consolidate withing SAP (S4HC).
