To create an infotype in transaction PA30 in SAP, you can follow these steps:

1. Access Transaction PA30: Log in to your SAP system and access transaction PA30, which is used for maintaining personnel data.

2. Enter Personnel Number: Enter the personnel number for which you want to create the new infotype record. If you don't have a personnel number yet, you may need to create an employee master record first.

3. Select Infotype Creation: Once you have entered the personnel number, select the "Infotype" tab in the PA30 transaction screen.

4. Enter Infotype Number: In the "Infotype" tab, enter the infotype number of the infotype you want to create. Infotype numbers in SAP represent specific types of personnel data, such as addresses, qualifications, or organizational assignments. If you are unsure of the infotype number, you can consult your SAP system administrator or HR team.

5. Click on "Create": After entering the infotype number, click on the "Create" button to start creating a new infotype record.

6. Fill in the Infotype Data: In the subsequent screen, you will be presented with the fields and attributes associated with the selected infotype. Fill in the relevant data according to your requirements. The fields and data to be entered will vary depending on the specific infotype you are creating.

7. Save the Infotype Record: Once you have filled in the necessary data, click on the "Save" button to save the newly created infotype record.

8. Review and Verify: After saving, review the infotype record to ensure that the data is accurate and complete. You can navigate between infotype screens using the "Next Screen" or "Previous Screen" buttons in PA30.

By following these steps, you should be able to create a new infotype record using transaction PA30 in SAP. However, please note that the specific configuration and customization of infotypes may vary depending on your SAP system version and organization's requirements. It is always recommended to consult your SAP system administrator or HR team for guidance specific to your system and business processes.
