Hire date / Entry date uploaded wrongly as 01.01.1800 and/or 01.01.1900

Dear Friends,

Hire date / Entry date uploaded wrongly as 01.01.1800 and/or 01.01.1900

Few of our employee’s entry date has been uploaded with wrong entry date in Infotype 0000-Action for hiring actions, that is before control record’s earliest retroactive date.

We have tried all the cases mentioned in SAP Note 41523, much before and failed to do it due to

1. Few employees Entry date is 01-Jan-1800

2. IT0000 exist with Further actions, that means IT0000 exist with other actions than hiring action

3.Control record earliest retroactive date is set to Jan-2009 (Table T549Q is starting from first period 01 of fiscal year 1900)

Please let me know if any chance to overcome of it considering all above mentioned.

Kindly note that we are NOT using Infotype 0041-Date specifications, all our analysis and reports are on Infotype 0000-Actions for employee hiring/entry date.

Please suggest how to correct the employee entry date.

In PA30 in menu there is an option to change hire/fire date. It should work smoothly.

Hi TG,

You can over come the above issue, in S Note. 41523 clearly mentioned how to over come the issue.

First rest the control record to whom you want to change the hiring date, then later on configure the two action types as mentioned the above s note.

Please share the screen shot if your facing the issue after make the changes as per the above note.
