Hi Experts, need your help on SAP GOS and SharePoint Integration

I have a client who is using S4/Hana and Sharepoint on-premise. They want to store all their GOS documents to SharePoint. Any tips / advice / steps:
Pre-requirements (do I need 3rd party sofware?)
Steps on how to integrate with Archivelink
Pros / Cons
Sending SAP metadata to SharePoint associated with the document

Dear Linda

Connecting SAP to Sharepoint for what concerns Attachments is basically never out of the box. And as Sharepoint does not support the Archivelink protocol, you always need a specific connector to support Sharepoint integration.

Now we have a solution which is not exactly a third party tool as it consists of pure ABAP code and is thus directly coming on your existing SAP system, the YAC add-on ! YAC can connect SAP to Sharepoint and will store attachments with their original filename into automatically generated folder structures (on basis of configuration), and can also add metadata to the document.

It also has many other functionalities around attachments and works for all types of attachments (SAPOffice, GOS, Archivelink, etc.) and in all screens (GUI, Fiori, GUIHtml, WebDynpro, etc.)

Hi all,

Anybody who knows how to do the integration without 3rd party software and by using CSADMIN/OAC0 repostirory customizing. Also is there a way to send SAP data to SharePoint, e.g. Sales order number that is linked via GOS.
