Hallo Zusammen,

ich beschäftige mich gerade intensiver mit der Public Cloud. Kann mir jemand sagen ob es den Geschäftsbereich in der Public Cloud noch gibt? Ich konnte leider noch nichts finden und vermute daher, dass es diesen nicht mehr gibt.

Für ein kurzes Feedback wäre ich sehr dankbar.

I‘m currently dealing with the topic public cloud. Is there someone who can let me know whether the business area still exist in the public cloud? Unfortunately I couldn’t find something about that until now.

Hi Christian,

development for business area was stopped a long time ago , see note https://i7p.wdf.sap.corp/sap/support/notes/321190.

There is no content delivered in S4HANA Public Cloud for this.

The document splitting characteristics for FI are Segment and Profit Center.

Thank you for your answer. I remember that I heard something like that before. But it’s strange that I have seen a confirmation by SAP in the meantime that the business area field as an splitting element is still available in the public cloud. ???
