Germany - E-Bilanz

Hi SAP community,

We are going to implement S/4H Cloud for a german company.

In that context does anybody already put in place E-Bilanz for Germany and could share the process in english?

I am reading the SAP Cloud documentation on this topic but I am still lost with it: information related to SAP ERP Client for E-Bilanz is in deutsh and not traduced in english...

Is there an additional licence required to use SAP ERP Client for E-Bilanz?

Hi Laure,

You do not need an additional license to use the SAP ERP Client for E-Bilanz, no.

The Cloud documentation is in English, but the information related to the SAP ERP Client for E-Bilanz is only available in German. This is because of the tax laws in Germany. Tax laws here are never translated into other languages; they only exist in German. Using the E-Bilanz tool requires a profound knowledge of the German tax laws and requirements to be able to fulfill these requirements. An example would be mapping accounts: To map accounts correctly, you need to follow tax requirements that differ from the local GAAP requirements. Moreover, the local GAAP and German tax laws stipulate that balance sheets and income statements are only accepted in local currency (EUR) and in German.

That is why some of the technical installation information is available in English but the requirements for the E-Bilanz client and the returns you generate are only available in German--because they are actually not made available in any other language by the tax authority.

I was not successful either getting an English Version of electronic financial statement for Germany. You can try this Help link, but again some of the hyper link routes to German installation by default and no way to translate them.

But you can try this link and see how much further you could proceed.

Use translate.google.com and try to upload the help page( content can be downloaded in .pdf document) and then you could interpret the content.
