Generate IT0709 when implementing CE

Former Member

Hi.

I have activated CE and turn on all the necessary switches and now it's time to generate IT0709 on all employees. For that, I use report HR_CE_GENERATE_PERSONID_EXT.

If I have an employee who go two assignments with two different employee number only the first number will be generated and the second one will have an error message says: Personid_Ext identical with employee number xxxxxx.

Why can't I generate IT0709 for the second employee number?

Thankful for help // Peter B

Hi,

The switch CCURE PIDGN i think is entered as 2 in your system, also once activated this it cant be changed you confirm this.as it is 2 in switch CCURE PIDGN the same pernr number will taken as person ID and all corresponding assignments will continue in that number range.

the emp who has 2 pernr are both active? then only 1 can will taken by system.Any employee should have only 1 PERNR as it is an unique identification for system hope this helps you understand your issue.

My CCURE PIDGN is set to 3 and that's what we want. So therefore is PERNR not unique for us, it's our personal security number that is unique.

Do you have any other suggestion?

Hi,

If you have set the value as '3', then go to PA30 and create IT0709 for the second personnel number, it will work.

But the same will not work with the report you have mentioned , as its a BADI and you have to define your own generationmethod.

Thank you Swapnil for your effort, but if I go directly into PA30 I can not see my second employee number.

If I turn off the CCURE PIDSL I can see it, but I can not create IT0709 with the same person-id as the first employee number.

It's like catch 22.

I have now noticed that they don't have the same CP number, could this be the problem? How can I fix this?

If I have one employee and creates another employee number for him, infotype 0709 will be created automaticly. So it will work in the end.

They also got the same CP number.

The asignments in the CE will have the same CP.

Do one thing, Hire one person, then create one more personnel assignmnet for it in CE environment. Check now, both of them should have the same CP.

I guess you are using two different personnel numbers since you have different CP for both and you can't club them in CE.

Also, regarding IT0709, you can assign the personID to only one of the personnel assignments and the other personnel assignmnets will then use the first one as the reference assignment.

Do you now of a report I can run to fix the CP number?

Hi,

I don't think you'll have a report to fiox it as far as I know.

I believe you should write a custom report for this.

I have found a workaround and that is to use the report RHRHDL00 and delete the CP number from one of the employee number. After that it is easy to create and connect the two employee number.

Thanks for your effort.

Hi,

Check the following swithces in V_T77S0 table

CCURE PIDGN Generation Rule RESONID

CCURE PIDSL Selection with PERSONID

Do an F4 and set the correct value as per your requirement. It will work.
