Fixed Header condition type with a fixed value

Hello Experts,

The requirement is to get the header fixed freight value on the basis of the customer, Shipping conditions, and material attributes.

For Example Customer X orders with delivered shipping conditions

1) Material 1 - with A1 attribute

2) Material 2 - With A2 attribute

3) Material 3 - With A1 attribute

In this case flat rate needs to be added at the header level on the basis of Customer X, Shipping conditions and Material attribute A1. Irrespective of qty , weight etc.

Kindly request you to please check and suggest how we can do it.

Thanks and Regards,

Pankaj

Hello Pankaj,

It sounds like you'll need to create a condition type for whatever Flat rate you mention or use an already existing condition with the above mentioned condition access i.e. based on Customer, Shipping Condition & Material Attribute.. In case of issues in the value or calculation, this can be handled via a VOFM routine with technical teams' help.. If the Material attribute or any other field is not part of the condition field catalog.. you'll need to add this field into the catalog and then create the corresponding condition record.. Below blog should help:

If what is mentioned here doesn't match your requirement then please provide some more details on what you have tried, what did/didn't work etc.. to get a suitable response..

Thank you Vijay for your reply.

As you mentioned we can create a table and maintain the flat rate on Customer, Shipping condition, and Material attributes. However, the requirement is at the header level so that if we have the same combination for another line item in the same order with different material it will not charge two times.

Please check and suggest.

Well there can be multiple Permutations in this case like what happens when there are different Material numbers entered for different line items.. what would be the preference..
Then there are other parameters to consider like Header condition usually cannot access Material data etc..
All i can suggest is you'll most likely need Technical Teams' help to fulfil your requirement.. VOFM routines or Exits etc.. to ensure you do not have repeat values..

You may await further responses here.
