Fixed asset - transfer

Hi Experts,

Tracking the movement of fixed assets from one warehouse to another in SAP Business One, as my client has two warehouses located in the same area. Please provide me with clear instructions on how to accomplish this task.

Additionally, We need to raise the E-way bill for this transfer.

Hi,

Under the fixed assets tab of fixed asset master, you can select the appropriate location to reflect the new whereabouts. As far as transfer and subsequent e - way bill from within system, there is only one option to create an inventory item and do the stock transfer. Maintain this inventory number under the inventory number field in the fixed assets tab of fixed asset master.

This although not a practical solution as many factors like GLs affected and the stock, system will keep on showing needs to be thought of.
