Error Message in ControlCenter DB Instances and Companies

Hello,
we have a problem with an error in ControlCenter in Modul DB Instances and Companies, after we made a restore from a backup to create a new Database for Testing.

The List of Companies is empty.
Error-Message: Error while connection to Database Server XY
I have enclosed screenshot from Conrolcenter: companies-empty-in-controlcenter.jpg

and the error: error-message.jpg

In SAP, we can't use "choose companies" choose-company.jpg

when we try to enter to a new Database (restored from Backup)

I have deleted the restored TEST-Database from SQL.. but error still appears

Do you have ideas for this ?
Do you need more details ?

Thanks for your time
Best regards
Markus

Hello Nidhi Singh,
thanks for your answer. I have checked as follows:

1. after Restart SLD Service... Error still appears 😞
2. Connection via Option with TCP/IP works fine 🙂
3. Add Company with IP add-company.jpg Error still appears 😞
4. SBO Common already exists 🙂
5. Not in Use

I will do a restart of SAP-Server this evening. Maybe it helps... I will let you know
Thanks
Markus

Hi markus_schaefer242

Please try the following:
1) Restart SAP Business One SLD service and check if issue still exists?
2) Please check if DBSAP could be connected via TCP/IP protocol. (You can check it via SQL Server Management Studio -> connect to Server -> Options -> Connection Properties -> Select Network Protocol: TCP/IP -> click on connect)
3) Please try to add database server in SLD manually with using the name of database server or IP address to check if it can be added successfully. Afterwards check if company list is can be displayed without any error.
4) Please ensure that the SBO-COMMON database already exists on DB SAP.
5) IE Proxy setting - If you are using network proxy, please disable the proxy in Internet Explorer.

Thank You.

Kind Regards
Nidhi Singh
