ERRATIC PP REQUIREMENTS For ROH Material

While running MPR for Finished good at plant level. Semifinished material in Sub contracting process. After MRP system is generating more PR qty then the Required qty. MRP Type-PD, Lot size-EX, Minimum QTY is maintained-5000 for ROH Material. The System is Running Background job for PR creation, MRP run and Delete Unreleased PR, Multiple PR to Single PR in every Week. Please give some solution why system create too much qty for ROH material.

If you set “Minimum Lot Size” = 5000 in the View of MRP1 for the material.

Pre-condition: there is no stock for the material.

When the requirement Qty <= 5000, the PR will be created after MRP running, and PR Qty = 5000.

If the requirement Qty > 5000 , the PR will be created after MRP running, and PR Qty = Requirement Qty.
