Enable storage location field in task list component using SHD0

Hi Gurus,

Had perform testing to enable the Storage Location field in Task List component using SHD0 but it doesn't work. Also, had perform testing to disable editable field using SHD0 in same screen and its work. Is there any experts can confirm is it SHD0 only allow to disable editable field and not allow to enable the field?

Hi,

The storage location field in the task list component is not editable because it is automatically populated from BOM item storage location.

Thanks for the comments.

I noticed that when the material is entered at task list component, there is BOM assign automatically which this material there is no BOM created. I check the BOM category is standard BOM. I try to display the BOM using CS53 but the system says "BOM does not exist."

Hi,

As per your image your are giving BOM number in the Standard object field. to find to Standard object go in STST table by using SE16N Tcode and find Standard object number for your BOM and Run CS53.

Meaning to say, I need to maintain SLoc in this standard BOM at CS51/CS52 right?

I have another confusion.

Whenever I enter component in task list, the system automatically assigns this standard BOM. On top of that, I perform a testing where I entered component that already have BOM assigned, but in task list component the system assigns this same standard BOM.
