Discount Structures

Hi Guys,

I wonder if anyone knows how to do this or if it can be done as standard, I suspect an add-on may be required, and if so which one will do it.

Basically, I have a customer that offers discounts on their products, however there are various layers to the discounts, as an example....

Customer gets a flat rate discount of say 8% off all products, however on certain product groups they may get 10%. Also on top of this if they spend to set levels they get additional discount that must overide the set customer discount if it is higher. What they need to do is at a line level apply the discounts and not have the discounts stack, (what they dont need to happen is the customer gets their 8%, plus 10% plus any spend discount off the doc total !).

The aim is that they should get the 8% of all standard products at line level, 10% at line level off the particular Item group, however, if they reach a certain spend limit have both of those discounts overridden with a discount based on a spend/discount structure.

I hope that makes sense as I have been trying to combine special pricing, with price lists, bp discounts etc and cannont come up with a way of making this work with standard functionality, I can get my crystal report to work on these scenarios but I need the logic to work in SAP B1 to post correct amounts.

Does anyone have any thoughts ?

Regards

Sean

Hi Sean...........

I guess this can be done through Special Prices and Period and Volume Discpunt in standard........

Please check both of the above functionalities in B1........

Hi Rahul,

I have already tried through those and unfortunately I cannot get the scenarion to function as ultimately it ends up applying all the discounts, it does not overide the line discounts if the spend value reaches set criteria.

Unless I am missing something I dont think this can be achieved by standard functionality.

Kind regards

Sean
