Hi Experts,
Could you please come up with your understanding on my below questions/queries:
1. As per my understanding, /401 split 01 is used for Fed withholding tax & /401 split 02 is used for state withholding tax. However, I can also see WT /J01 (Fed withholding tax) having the same value as /401 split 01 & /K01 (state withholding tax) is having the equal value as /401 split 02.
Why sap has given WT /j01 & /k01 though we are already having WT /401 (split 01& 02)?
2. What is the exact differnece between CRT & TCRT table?
Appreciate all your inputs!
Cheers,
Prakash
Hi Prakash,
I have not worked on US payroll.. but playing around with table V_512W_D, I got to know few things:
1) /401 - TX Withholding Tax (This wage type represents the withholding tax calculated by BSI.) BSI stands for Business Software, Inc. (BSI).
2) /J01 - TG Withholding Tax (out) (This wage type represents the gross wage amount for withholding tax purposes)
3) /K01 - No idea abt the same.
Answer to your second question. The CRT reflects year to date amounts for all RT wage types. The TCRT reflect YTD amount for all wage types from tax point of view.
Wish some US payroll expert clarifies your doubt in a better way
Cheers,
Hari

Answer for you second question..
CRT stores year to date amounts of all wage types and TCRT also does the same but from tax point of view
