Determine an approver Substitution on workflow application

When an employee goes on vacation, all approvals are stopped, waiting for a manual action.

Do we have any forecast if any functionality will be available to meet this need?

Hi,

Kindly note that as of now, there is no functionality to automatically forward a work item when the approver is on vacation.

There are 2 options you can refer to:

2. In the 'My Inbox' app, the approver can forward their tasks to assign them to other users for processing https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/0e602d466b99490187fcbb30d1dc897c/b2cd80f3d0e94efd806c3f53...
