The batch number is generated automatically when opening standard production orders. I placed an order today but it did not arrive automatically. Where should I check?

A Batch is not necessarily created automatically.
You can create a Production Scheduling Profile and use the field "Automatic Batch Creation in the Order" on the profile customizing (transaction OPKP) to ensure that a batch will be created automatically.
