Closing/Expiry of PO

Our Client requirement is that PO needs to get closed after certain number of days (which we would maintain in custom field "UP TO" or "Latest GR date") from the date of creation, after that no one should able to edit or process that PO.

Kindly suggest the possibility to set up PO close logic by the date given in custom field "UP TO" or "Latest GR date"(LEWED)

Dear Akshay ,

U can write logic in BADI to check PO date and the number of days in custom field .

If validation fails then do not save/edit PO

Actually we need to close the PO only after certain number of days for which we will give input in custom field "UP TO" as date format. So after that date, the PO should not be editable.

Kindly suggest possible solution.

Hi Akshay,

You may consider to add a custom before saving the PO, for example check the current system date and value in 'UP TO'. In case the PO got expired then no changing will be allowed in the custom logic.
