clockin & clockout entry through ESS

Hi Friends,

Is it possible in standard ESS application? so that employee can mark their clock in & clock out entry through ESS and update the infotype 2011.

Please let me know your comment.

do u have manager approval for Clock in clock out ...and is it only first in and last out ur taking ? or else all timings u take in a day like whenever go goes outside it shud also calculate like in a day the daily working hours shud fulfill 8 or 9 hrs as per daily work schedule which we define , how ur taking once confirm ...

You can use the standard application for this Record working time.

Thanks for the prompt response but we are not using CATS application to records the time.

existing system mapped-

third party recording terminal to SAP via interface.

Please tell me the other way..

All your CICO's are uploading into IT2011 from an abap program interface. Even though you can use the CATS application for recording the clock in/out entries from ESS.

If you doesn't want use the CATS, then you can use the CICO's corrections application where employee can specify clock in/clock outs with some reason.

Here you can process this with or with out approval process and it will update in ecc through report RPTCORPOST in background job schedule.

CATS doesnt update 2011.

You need to use Clock in clock out which has Time fields and update the Teven Table ie 2011 infotype, using this you can create or correct existing time records

typically, many uses to create new time events. CICO should fit your bill correcly

Refer its customisation in PTCOR as in for leave request is PTARQ
