Changing the Consolidation unit every year so that we don't breach License for 25 Consolidation unit

Hi Experts,

In our project client has SAP Group reporting license for 25 consolidation unit. In future, the number of consolidation unit might change and new consolidation unit is added and old ones get divested. Also, client doesn't want to buy additional license for 25 consolidation unit. So is this license limit of 25 consolidation unit is on active consolidation unit? or the number of consolidation unit created till now including the divested ones as well?

For example, If current number of active consolidation unit is 24 in fiscal year 2023. For 2024, there will be addition of 2 new consolidation unit and divestiture of 1 consolidation unit. So the number of active consolidation unit will be 25. However the historical total would be 26.

So my question is that the license would be for active consolidation unit right?

Hello Bhagyesh, In total, there will be 26 consolidation units with historical data. This expansion signifies that your customer is obtaining additional data. Regardless, I kindly request that you advise your customer to get in touch with SAP's service manager or account manager for more precise clarification specific to Licence.
