Change Maintenance Plant in Service Notification

Hi,

I have a service notification with maintenance plant AC01 (China), this needs to be changed to the maintenance plant AS01 (Singapore). The service order has already been created from the notification with correct maintenance plant AS01.The serivce order is released but not confirmed and there is not materials reserved.

The requirement is only to change the maintenance plant on the notification. The user is not having the authorisation to change it to AS01. Can I change it in production system directly using IW52 by taking change access?

If yes, what are the points to be taken care of? Please guide,

hi

you can change main work center even after releasing of service order in notification or service order in IW52. Ask your BASIS guy to give you authorization of IW52 and IW32 and change work center. If still system gives any authorization error then run SU53 and check which authorization is required and ask you BASIS guy to give your user that authorization.

Thank you very much for your reply. The main workcenter and maintenance plant is correct in the serivce order. The wokcenter is not maintained in the service notification, and the maintenance plant in the notification needs to be changed.

The service order is correct, changes only required for Service notification.

You can change in IW52. Is there nay issue? If you are facing any error please tell.

It was primarily due to the wrong plant updation in the equipment, I changed the same accordingly and the issue resolved.
