BOM not exploded in Stock Requirements List - MD04 Overview Tree

Hi Experts,

When MRP is run for a Finished Material, Procurement Proposals are generated for those externally procured materials, Planned Orders are generated for those inhouse manufactured materials.

Out of which, for a particular BOM, there are child components for which either stock is available or open purchase orders/purchase requisitions/QM Lot is available. So no proposals are generated for these components.

The question here is how Overview Tree will show these components. Because, for some of the components which are available in stock are shown in Overview Tree whereas for other materials, eventhough they are available in stock, they are not shown in Overview Tree.

Kindly let me know what will be the specific reason. Master Data maintenance - Material Master, BOM, Routing, Production Version are all available.

If a Semifinished Material is available in Stock, whether the Overview Tree will show the child components of the Semifinished Material.

Hi,

If you are on S4 HANA you need to have production version, If you have valid production version run MRP with regen planning.
