Batch derivation during GR

Dear experts,

I'm trying to understand why batch derivation during goods receipt for a production order isn't working when we perform goods issue beforehand, but it works when we don't perform the goods issue and there are no derivation events except 400. Is there something I could be missing? I have checked all configuration settings for batch derivation and confirmed the master data settings for sender and receiver batches are correct. Can you please point me to any missing setting causing this issue?

Dear All, We found that the issue stems from a customer exit triggered during goods receipt, which updates data in the finished goods batch based on the goods issue.

Hi,

check whether you have activated ,BaWU synchron.posting indicator for the plant. If not activate and test again. (Make Settings for Batch Where-Used List)

Hi, Please check if any subsequent changes to the batch characteristics exist, after good issue to the production order. (message VBDRV037). For example, you might have assigned a batch to the production order component with the characteristics value 10. And after the good issue from the same batch, the batch characteristic might have changed to 12 (from some other transaction to the same batch). In that case batch derivation will not happen during GR. Please check for another set of data, with and without specifying batch at the production order. This may not be a configuration issue.
