Automatic Account Determination content download - S4 public cloud

Hi everybody,

has anyone ever needed to download the full content of the automatic account determination app?

Is there a way? Any way?

Hi Peter,

I guess you are aware that there is a "Share" button on the bottom right corner. Which provides you the functionality to export it to Excel:

I am not aware of a functionality to download everything in one batch.

I never noticed that button there. And to be honest I've never used it anywhere.

But I have a reason. I have just one option. Send by email.

I don't see what you see.

Maybe my installation is not the latest and it doesn't have all the options?
It's a two layer tenant. Implemented at the end of 2018.

Hi Peter,

I am a bit confused in the subject of this question it says "public cloud". If you are on public cloud you have always the latest release.

So there is also a SAP Note which clarifies when this was implemented: Note Note 2969938 - 'Release Information Note: Automatic Account Determination for S/4HANA Cloud Edition 2011'

So from 2020 November the feature did for sure exist.

Other option for you is to navigate to the best practice explorer and use the download button there. It will give you a list of content by country and releases , you will get a zip file which contains not only all the scope items test scripts but as well extractions of SAP tables standard delivery content for that country, Account Determinations, tax codes, Chart of Accounts with all the details of the accounts and so on. So these are the pre-delivered automatic account determination content.

I am a bit confused myself.

First I have to say sorry I did not explain myself when I said that it my system was not up to date. Of course I have a public cloud system with 2402 version. I said that because, believe me, I do not see what you tell me. And I have a user with all the catalogs so I don't think it is due to lack of authorizations (never say never though).

Consider that our company has two systems, the one I talked about, implemented in 2018 and another implemented in 2023. Both are missing that functionality.

Hi Peter,

in the Note it's mentioned that you need the business role "SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT" assigned to you. And also it seems that this app is made for the Q system and you have to test your changes there and transport it only after you tested it in Q-system to your productive system. If you still cannot find the button after assigning the role please open a medium customer incident, my colleagues will look into this issue.

Hi Peter,

Please use the process navigator https://me.sap.com/processnavigator/SolS/EARL_SolS-013/2402?region=US and go to the accelerator section and under the reference section, there is an excel file with the GL account details. This excel file has many tabs and the tabs towards the end provide a copy of the account determination in the system which is provided as the reference content. This can be your starting point.
