Auto Reversal of Accrual Journal entries

Hi Experts,

Our users want to post all accrual journals which are posted in the current month should automatically reversed on first of next period.

Is this requirement can be catered in SAP, if yes please suggest the steps.

Hi,

Document can not be reverse automatically, If you schedule F.81 with given parameters to reverse the document it will reverse the document, but make sure that time period should be open

if i posted an accrual jnl dated Oct with reversal date as Oct by mistake, instead of 1 Nov.

How can i now reverse this jnl in the Nov period manually (oct period is closed)?

I tried FB08 to manually reverse but it did not work.

You can use FBS1 and F.81 for the same.

If you post your accrual entries using with FBS1(Here you need to mention a Reversal reason and and reversal date), F.81 automatically populates these entries when you execute this.

If you want you can schedule this as background jod on 01st of the every month.

Use SM36 for creation of backgroud job, search forum for further.

I think you can't park this, but you can hold this document.

Later on when you require you can post the hold document.
