auto printing the sales order while saving

i need to auto print the sales order while saving it in the ( VF01 ) transaction,

if there is some kind of configuration, i am using S/4HANA is it possible to configurate this process,

or i will need to customise some code, if code needed please help me how to enhance this kind of process,

Do you want to automate the print from sale order save or billing save since you have indicated VF01 which is for billing? If it is from sale order saving, yes, it is quite possible in S/4 Hana. On the other hand, if your requirement is to print the sale order once the billing document is saved, then, you need to clarify whether it is order related or delivery related billing. If order related, it is okay but if it is delivery related, you need to consider when partial shipments are invoiced. Here if you fetch the order quantity in the output, it would be wrong.

i'm sorry i need to print the (billing invoice) not the sales order, after creating an invoice for the order in the transaction VF01,

In general - yes, it is possible to configure an output to be issued at document creation. Still, it is unclear in your case which is the document, what is the criterion for processing the output, it is not even known whether the application in question uses BRF+ or NAST.

I would highly recommend that you discuss the business case with a qualified functional SD consultant from your team before you consider modifying anything.

Speaking from the position of a functional consultant - I would be really displeased if a developer is changing the configuration that I have done without telling me.

we are using S/4HANA, my SD consultant is telling me that the S/4HANA doesn't support auto printing for documents any more,

he needs programatic solution, so i am asking if it is cofigurable, can you tell me how to configurate the solution,

or give me any documentation about this topic for S/4HANA,

muhamednasr your functional consultant is wrong.

There are two options for configuring output determination for sales orders in S/4HANA - NAST and BRF+.

Both support immediate output.

There is plenty of documentation that can be found online related to the traditional NAST approach and for BRF+ as well.

For NAST you can search in Google for output determination SD. For BRF+ you can try BRF+ output management.

There is also detailed information for the standard delivered configuration for SD documents in 2330928 - Output Management in S/4 HANA for Sales Document Default Customization for On-Premise Syst....

If your consultant is struggling with certain parts of the customizing - let them ask a question here outlining what have they done so far in terms of configuration, what errors they encountered, etc.

Don't do lazy people's job, they will never learn if you do. If you start doing their job for them you will have to do this all the time.
