Hi team
The depreciation run in S4 Hana is not working correctly. According to our posting cycle which is monthly we should only be able to post to the next posting cycle. When I run depreciation for any other period it allows me to do so. The system should only allow me to post depreciation for the next period and should have given the error message “According to posting cycle, you should post period 000 next”. We should only be allowed to post the next simultaneous period from last depreciation posting period.
My posting rule is configured like this:
Is this normal behaivour on HANA for assets on AFAB tcode, or Im missing some configuration?
